Dog Bites News Anchor on Live TV 3:52 p.m. PST, February 8, 2012 DENVER, Colo. (KTLA) -- An interview went terribly wrong when a dog turned on a news anchor. The 85-pound Argentine Mastiff named Max had been rescued from an icy pond. Kyle Dyer of our Denver affiliate was petting Max, and interviewing his owner and the firefighter who rescued him. But Max suddenly turned on Dyer and bit her in the face. Dyer was treated at a Denver hospital where she remains in fair condition.
